Dismemberments In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts

The newest game of CI Games, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts formerly known as CI Games, will have violent visuals when it comes to shooting our enemies.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will offer a robust system: if your enemy dies, they won’t just fall as if nothing happened after shooting say, their arm several times – with a strong enough shot, that arm can fall off, meaning the corpse could fall into pieces, as none of the limbs will be „stuck” to the torso, so the experience will be more realistic if you grab a sniper rifle in this game. (Or something else, but the name of the series is intentional.)

With this function, it’s obvious that the team is trying to copy Sniper Elite’s x-ray system, as that series offers a similar take on the enemies’ physics as a result of a nice shot. „Many realistic shooters these days don’t have dismemberment. We don’t understand why. The classic Soldier of Fortune had it. Our fans [they have fans? – the ed.] have been asking for it. The tech allows for it. We’ve listened and added it [to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts],” CI Games wrote on Twitter. They published a GIF as well to prove their point. In it, we also see the usual camera angles that we got used to during the Sniper Ghost Warrior series.

„We have yet to see what CI Games can do because – as we wrote about it before – they decided to take away the development from an American studio on Lords of the Fallen 2 for allegedly not being good enough for the task. And seeing CI Games’ history, we can have our fair share of doubts, regardless of which game we’re talking about. Maybe the Poles can make us eat the humble pie,” we wrote a few months ago.

We’ll see soon: Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is out on November 22 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
