Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will connect to the franchise world at Disneyland.
After Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, the franchise created by George Lucas is preparing for its next launch in the framework of virtual reality. It is an action adventure that takes place on the planet Batuu and connects with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the world dedicated to this saga at Disneyland California and Walt Disney Resort Florida.
Its name is Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge and it comes from ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s award-winning immersive entertainment studio , and Oculus Studios . The executive in charge of ILMxLAB, Vicki Dobbs Beck, assures us on the official Star Wars blog that we will see this VR experience later this year.
The purpose of the game is to involve the player in something called storyLIVING , a world that invites us to make consistent decisions that mark the course of the story. Their events will take place between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker . Each player will live his own adventure and will be able to explore the corners of the planet Batuu.
This might not be the only Star Wars announcement we see these days, as the mysterious Maverick project has given new clues. Well-known industry sources say EA Motive will announce the game shortly.
