The Last of Us 2 Already Owns A Record Launch In The US in 2020

The Naughty Dog game The Last of Us 2 for PS4 tops the list with a record month followed by the giant Call of Duty.

The Last of Us Part II continues to make history almost a month after its release on PlayStation 4. The sequel created by Naughty Dog triumphs on the sales charts of some countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Now, this new installment has been crowned as the video game that has raised more money in a month in the United States than some companies make the entire year.

The data has been published by VentureBeat, which belongs to the NPD Group and does not collect data from some companies that do not share it, such as sales of Nintendo’s first-party games, those of by Activision Blizzard, or microtransactions, subscriptions or any type of sale that does not have to do with complete games.

The list orders the games by their collection in dollars in 2020.

Second is one of the video games that has dominated the sales charts since its launch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, followed by the great protagonist of the Nintendo Switch in 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fourth place is no surprise either, as GTA V is on its way to becoming one of the best-selling video games, despite the fact that it has even been free for a time on PC.
