A promotional image caused this complete upheaval, and now Ubisoft has started cleaning the underwear of Far Cry 6.
In recent days, a promotional image of Far Cry 6 generated some confusion around the resolution of the game, with mention of 4K on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X, but not on PlayStation consoles. Does that mean that these versions will not support 4K? Ubisoft has confirmed to the Spanish 3DJuegos that its new first-person action video game will reach 4K on PS5 and PS4 Pro, in addition to the PC, which was taken for granted.
Ubisoft promises to give more details soon.
“Far Cry 6 will be available in 4K on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro and PC. We will share more details about it later “, reports the French company without going into more details about the technical performance of this new Far Cry. Previously, Ubisoft already hinted that 4K resolution would also be available on Sony platforms.

“The highlighted text above [referring to the controversial image] only refers to Xbox systems that will run Far Cry 6 at 4K Ultra HD resolution,” Ubisoft reported on social media. They then stated, “They have no more information to add about the other systems at that time.”
The new action video game already has a release date, set for next February.
