In October, with the Halloween event to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will come ‘The Final Stand’, with new features and an old acquaintance.
While some are still trying to mentally overcome Alatreon’s charged attacks, Capcom presents the fifth and final content update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, titled The Final Stand. It will be available on October 1 and will bring with it a good dose of news, but the most striking of all is the return of an ancient dragon of arms: the Fatalis, the final boss of the first game of the saga for online mode. It seems that the White Fatalis and the Crimson Fatalis will miss this instalment, yes.
Be that as it may, we’ll be able to meet him in a beautiful recreation of Schrade Castle when it’s available. Although it is destroyed, it still includes weapons such as the classic ballista or the Dragonator that we can use during combat. Of course, with him come special rewards in the form of themed weapons and armor for the hunter and his comrade Felyne. Capcom hasn’t detailed what exactly this set offers exclusively, but it looks like it will flirt with the set level caps for abilities.
Velkhana archicurtido will also be available.
As for monsters, there is also the arch tanned version of Velkhana, the star monster of Iceborne, and all the previous events introduced in the Halloween festival. Also included are all Master Rank sets as layered armor for fashion-minded players, as well as a new Claw Ability that allows us to use it with even more agility than before.
As it could not be otherwise, Capcom ends its summary of news by offering a review of the many improvements that have been incorporated to MHW over the last two years, indicating that although the new content ends here, we will continue to see events of regularly. Considering how extraordinarily well this game has sold and been welcomed by the public, we will not be at all surprised to see a new instalment in the future. For now, we have our sights set on the next Monster Hunter confirmed for Switch.
