MOVIE NEWS – Capcom has officially announced the existence of the series at the Tokyo Game Show 2020.
Just a month ago we told you that Netflix was preparing a live-action Resident Evil series. The American company is betting on series based on video games, such as Cuphead, Castlevania or Dragon’s Dogma. Well, Capcom has just officially announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2020 the existence of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness ( Infinite Darkness in Spain), the new Resident Evil series that will reach the world in 2021. This production will have the protagonists of Resident Evil 2 and, although we do not know anything about their plot, we can confirm that they have a different look than what is seen in video games.
This news was published with the teaser that Netflix Portugal leaked yesterday by mistake (in fact, the tweet was deleted) and at first it was thought that this production would be a movie, but it has finally been confirmed that it will be a series, officially showing its first advance video. Of course, it has been confirmed that this new series has nothing to do with the one that was also announced a month ago. They are totally different productions.
