CD Projekt RED‘s game would have been on its launch week now if it wasn’t delayed once again.
The Polish developers announced on Twitter that the next episode of the Night City Wire broadcast will be held on November 19 (when the game was planned to launch for a while). You can see the broadcast on Twitch at 6 PM UTC. The stream will feature Johnny Silverhand (formed and voiced by Keanu Reeves), a variety of Night City’s tunes, and „a lot more.”
Until then, you can see a new gameplay video on Twitter (embedded below). This was broadcast on Das Erste, the number one German public broadcasting channel. This brief clip showcases Night City, Johnny Silverhand, the main characters, the character creation, and the customization options.
And finally, let’s talk about the new music video that the game received. It features a rapper band called Run the Jewels with their song, No Save Point. It shows Night City, but with some bizarre elements mixed into the video. It paints a dark and dystopic future that we might experience in a few decades…
If the recently discussed rumours are not true, then Cyberpunk 2077 is getting no more delays, and it will be available from December 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (where each major store will receive it – Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG). The PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series duo will both support CD Projekt RED’s game, but the next-gen patch will only come in 2021, and the delays have pushed back the upcoming expansions, too. The monetized, standalone multiplayer component is unlikely to arrive next year, meaning it’s probably coming in 2022.
