Baldur’s Gate 3 will announce its fifth update soon and will erase all your progress, but there are ways to prevent it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is about to receive its fifth content update as part of the early access program, so Larian Studios has taken the opportunity to also announce its third video development diary. Both will be available next week.

More specifically, the program is called The Panel From Hell 3 – Twitch Plays: The Noblest Sacrifice and will be broadcast on July 8 at 8:00 p.m. (Spanish mainland time) through the official channel of the Belgian studio. It will be a good occasion to see all the news of the game in motion, and also to see those in charge play and influence their decisions.

How to keep the game of Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 Update 5 will be available at some unspecified time during the week of July 5-9 . The patch notes have not yet been released and therefore we do not know what is new, but we do know that when it arrives, the saved games of the previous version will not be compatible with this one.

Thus, Larian Studios presents you with a decision: you can continue playing with the current version, sacrifice your progress in order to access the most modern version, or put your game safely to jump to the new version temporarily.
