The PC version of Flight Simulator initially “weighed” almost 150 GB but over the months it has been reducing and optimizing its size.
It may have happened to all of us that when we catch a plane they tell us that there is no room for our luggage and that we have to deliver it to the cargo hold. Although it is not the same, we warn you with a few days of margin that you will need plenty of space on Xbox Series X | S so that the expected port of Microsoft Flight Simulator can finally land without problems.
Twitter user @ IdleSloth84 has echoed the game’s profile page on Xbox consoles and it will be quite a bit. A total of 97.2 GB is free to take off and take to the skies of the point of the world that we want with the new instalment of the popular flight simulation saga.

This required size, as you can see, comes from the standard edition of the game. This means that as more content is added, the number will increase. It is also likely that it does not occupy the same in Series X as in Series S due to optimization work, although it does serve as a guideline figure. It is especially important in the “small” of the new generation of Xbox, which has less storage space and MFS will occupy the SSD almost completely.
It is also something that you can improve over the weeks. Initially, Flight Simulator occupied about 150 GB on PC, but recently it has decreased its size to just over 80 GB. The game is coming to the Xbox Series shortly: on July 29.
