The launch trailer for F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is here, and boy, it is an action-packed trailer.

The side-scrolling action game with the grimdark, dieselpunk aesthetic, and furry animals are here. Just nearly a day away, and PlayStation owners will get to experience a unique Metroidvania that takes place in Torch City, and our main character Rayton is in hiding after the Machine Legion took over the city six years ago. Now he is forced out of hiding after an arrest of a friend,   reclaims his mechanical fist, and goes on a journey to save the friend.

Forged in Shadow, Torch looks fantastic thanks to its Unreal Engine 4, and the combat is fast-paced – with three different primary weapons (Whip, Drill, and Fist). Furthermore, the developers state that there will be more than a dozen different types of levels, complex puzzles and difficult combat challenges

F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is due out for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 digitally on September 7 worldwide. Physical editions are due out in Asia on September 10 and Japan on September 23. A PC version is also planned for release via Steam, but a release date has yet to be announced.
