Bayonetta 3 will launch for Switch in 2022, publisher Nintendo and developer PlatinumGames announced.
The game was announced back in 2017 for the Nintendo Switch, but not much was shown from the game besides some concept art. This changed today when Nintendo had its Nintendo Direct event, and we got a trailer and a bunch of new screenshots.
The trailer shows quite a lot of fun and hectic gameplay. You’ll be able to control a giant Godzilla like monster, the usual hectic spectacle combos are also back, plus epic finisher moves. The game takes place in Japan, and the city has not been revealed, and neither too much about the story itself. Other than the military trying to fight against the demons, with not much success. So Bayonetta has to step in and try and save humanity, but she does seem to create a lot of damage throughout the city while fighting.
We also do not know if the voice actor Bayonetta is the same as the previous ones, but based on the comments made by the original voice actor, and hearing this trailer, it does seem she was replaced with a new, currently unannounced voice actor.
Bayonetta 3 will be out next year on Switch in 2022, with a more specific date revealed later. Check out the trailer below:
