Although the Battlefield 2042 beta has been a success, some users have encountered technical problems. The game does not yet include the latest visual enhancements, but they will be in place for the premiere.
The Battlefield 2042 open beta has begun and will run until 9 October, allowing you to experience the first glimpses of the next instalment in the franchise ahead of its official launch in November. Although first impressions of the game have shown it to be a success, some players have encountered technical problems.
DICE quickly responded to this, stating that some visual improvements could not be introduced in the beta. In other words, the developer is aware of these issues and is already fixing them to ensure a good experience on launch day.
It was DICE CEO Oskar Gabrielson who reassured the community via Twitter. According to him, they’ve been working hard over the past few weeks, even though some things didn’t make it into the open beta: “We’ve made incredible progress over the past few months, including visual and stability improvements that haven’t made it into the open beta yet.”
We've made amazing progress over the last couple of months, including improvements to the visuals and stability that didn’t quite make it into the Open Beta build….

However, that doesn’t mean the project is behind schedule; in fact, they are moving at a fast pace to polish Battlefield 2042 to the best of its ability, quote, “And we want you to know that in these final weeks before launch, we’re at our best and super focused on delivering an amazing experience when Early Access launches on 12 November!”.
Battlefield 2042 is just weeks away from its 19 November release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It brings new features such as measures to reduce community intoxication and an Xbox and Playstation cross-gen bundle to allow users to upgrade their consoles.
