Halo Infinite: Is The February Event Leaked?

343 Industries’ Halo Infinite event will launch in a little over two months, and its contents might have been leaked a little early…

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is already running in beta (and will remain in beta until the game’s retail release), but as it’s a free-to-play component and was launched surprisingly early by 343 Industries and Microsoft, it’s a nice kick in the door for the poorly launched (and therefore poorly rated, and as mentioned before, abandoned-by-devs!) Battlefield 2042 will have a tough next two or three months because DICE will not have an easy time shaking its game into shape.

And Halo Infinite will take advantage of that. On Twitter, we see what the next battle pass might include when it arrives later in February. Granted, it’s a partial list, as Fractures: Tenrai has thirty reward tiers, and the image below shows only a third of that. Perhaps an additional armour core could be a higher tier, similar to the currently obtainable Yoroi, or maybe we can see shorter events between longer seasons, which is why there are only ten tiers in the attached image. We are merely speculating at this point.

The event will run from February 8 to 21, called Tactical Ops, and will test your aim in high stakes matches. At the moment, only the rewards are known, so no info about the capstones or the special playlist. Among the known items is the Claw Patrol Spartan Pose, the Scorpion Punch Armour Coating, the Mark V Zeta Helmet, and the UA/Mauros Helmet Attachment. There will also be challenge tokens and XP rewards, and these are considered standard. Supposedly it may be called Tactical Ops because the game modes include Tactical: Slayer Stalkers, Tactical: Slayer Commandos, Tactical: Slayer Sidekicks, and Tactical: Slayer Manglers.

So this could be all pistol-whipping if that’s what 343 Industries is really up to on Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC (you can find it on Steam and Microsoft Store…). Until then, all we can say is that it’s all unofficial.
