Super Smash Bros. Ultimate newest and last update has no confirmed release date yet.
With the departure of Sora in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the game will not receive any more characters in the future. However, the patches will not disappear, as the last set of ‘character tweaks’ have been confirmed in the game’s update 13.0.1. The details haven’t been specified yet, so it could mean only little adjustments in the fighters.
The confirmation came from Nintendo Versus, an official Twitter account of The Big N. “Version 13.0.1 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will arrive very soon,” reads the message posted. However, there is no confirmed date for the arrival, says My Nintendo News. Once patch 13.0.1 is available, replays from previous versions of the game will no longer be playable. But if you would like to preserve the compatibility of all your videos, don’t forget that you can convert the video inside the Vault.

Nintendo clarified that this will be the last patch that will adjust the characters. However, fixes to glitches and other errors in the title are another story, so even after the new update, bug fixes should arrive from time to time. This patch could play a very important role in the title’s competitive plans, because in case you haven’t heard, Nintendo announced the first 100% official esports circuit for this release and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
