MOVIE NEWS – In just two weeks, the Top Gun-themed Barbie doll, which will be modelled on pilot Natasha Trace, played by Monica Barbaro in the highly anticipated Top Gun: Maverick, has sold out in America.

According to toy company Mattel, Natasha is a modern role model because she is smart and talented, who earns the respect of her peers by crossing boundaries on the ground and in the air. The doll’s huge success foreshadows that in a few years’ time, collectors will be digging deep into their pockets for each one at auction.
