TECH NEWS – The Starfield space RPG is still a long way off, but some people are already dreaming up the ideal console to play it on…

 

 

There are 11 months to go until we can get our hands on Starfield, which many see as one of the biggest releases of 2022. The game will launch Bethesda’s first new universe in 25 years and will be the company’s first major exclusive title since its acquisition by Microsoft early last year. All of which makes it the perfect video game to be the star of an Xbox X Series themed specifically for the occasion.

No official announcement has been made yet, but there are artists keen to pitch ideas to the tech giant. One such example is POPE, a 3D designer famous on social media for his Xbox controllers, who recently shared what a custom Xbox Series X for the sci-fi role-playing game could look like. The hardware look is accompanied by a controller designed for the occasion, all in a design similar to the early Starfield promo.

 

 

 

 

We can’t wait to have a Starfield-themed console and controller sitting in our living room, but we’ll have to wait for Microsoft and Bethesda to reveal the exact plans for what promises to be a blockbuster game. Starfield, remember, is coming to PC and Xbox Series on 11 November and will be available on PC and Game Pass at launch, as with the company’s other games.
