Halo developer 343 Industries says they have been listening to the community to learn and improve for the future
343 Industries’ head of design has come out on previous occasions to talk about aspects of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer to improve, and on this occasion, Jerry Hook has done so to confirm that the studio is working to implement changes to the item shop over the next week.
Hook has shared that 343 Industries has been closely monitoring discussions about the shop, packs and pricing since launch, which has led them to work on changes based on feedback and data collected from the community. These will begin from Tuesday 18, where we will find “lower prices across the board”, with higher value packs and items outside of them.
The studio is committed to “trying new things” for the rest of the season in order to “learn and improve for the future”. Hook encouraged players to keep sending in their feedback and said goodbye by reminding players of the Cyber Showdown event, which will take place to coincide with the changes to the shop.

Cyber Showdown will be a free event with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, featuring cyberpunk cosmetics and neon. It’s been over a month since Master Chief’s return, and he’s done it in style, with a game that’s key to the franchise’s future and 343 Industries’ most ambitious. If you want to know why this is an essential shooter, remember that you have our review of Halo Infinite available. If you are interested in our game test, you can read it here.
