Lost Judgment Reportedly Being Made Into Real TV Series With The Same Actor In The Lead

MOVIE NEWS – Acclaimed pop star and actor Takuya Kimura is set to play private detective Takayuki Yagami, as he did in Judgment and its sequel.

We gamers are hooked on the thriller genre. Judgment was warmly received by the gaming community, and this phenomenon was repeated in the recent Lost Judgment, which received a straight-up excellent rating from us. Seeing the success of these two titles, SEGA did not want to miss out on audience interest and is rumoured to be considering a live-action TV series focusing on the adventures of detective Takayuki Yagami.

It is possible that the main character will be played by actor Takuya Kimura

However, the link to video games will go beyond the usual, as the main character could be played by Takuya Kimura, who is well known to fans as he played the same role in the games. The actor has had a significant pop music career in his home country, and we know him from the great Netflix series Blade of the Immortal, among others. Although SEGA has not yet officially confirmed it, Kotaku reiterates information published by Japanese media outlet Nikkan Gendai, which foreshadows that the series is tentatively titled “The Unjudged.”

While this name doesn’t exactly match the video games we know, it should be noted that the Japanese original is titled Lost Judgment: Sabakarezaru Kioku, which literally translates to “Lost Judgment: Unjudged Memory.” Therefore, the community quickly became suspicious that a real series of private eye titles was in the works.
