Just a week ago, we learned that they were involved in one of the industry’s most talked-about acquisitions by Microsoft, which left a lot of unknowns and theories up in the air. However, the creators of iconic titles like World of Warcraft are still looking ahead and are already preparing for a game set in a new universe.

A brand new survival game is set to launch for PC and consoles

Here’s how a job posting from the company says the mysterious title will be set in the survival genre: “Blizzard is embarking on our next quest. We are going on a journey to a whole new universe, home to a brand-new survival game for PC and console. A place full of heroes we have yet to meet, stories yet to be told, and adventures yet to be lived. A vast realm of possibility, waiting to be explored.”

Specifically, the company is looking for level design, art, and engineering positions. No further details about the game have been revealed, but a user named Nibel, who is well known for finding information about games on the Internet, found a hint of extra details through the job postings: it will be a triple-A game. So we’ll probably have to wait a long time before the developers make an official announcement, perhaps under the Microsoft umbrella?
