Dwayne Johnson Aka The Rock Brings “One Of The Biggest, Baddest Video Games” To The Big Screen!

MOVIE NEWS – Popular actor Dwayne Johnson is yet to reveal which game he has chosen for the production, but it will be announced later this year.

These days, the name The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, is a guarantee for many when it comes to the category of not-so-difficult but entertaining films. In general, this cinematic medium also includes movies based on video games, which are more popular today than ever before: just think of the recent Resident Evil film or the Uncharted production, to name a few recent examples.

“I can’t tell you which game in particular we’re doing, but there will be an announcement this year” – Dwayne Johnson

Now Johnson himself has announced that he will be involved in a film inspired by the world of video games. The actor himself said this in an interview with Men’s Journal, where he elaborates on the new project: “I can’t tell you which game in particular we’re doing, but there will be an announcement this year. We’re going to bring one of the biggest, most badass games to the screen – one that I’ve played for years. “

In the same interview, Johnson says he’s a big fan of the Madden franchise, but it’s improbable that the footage will go in that direction. However, while the mystery remains until further developments, the actor assures us that they will do a great job, “I’m really excited to bring it to fans around the world. Of course, we’re going to do right by our gamer friends – but really, we’re just going to make a great movie.”

We look forward to hearing more about Dwayne Johnson’s new film. In the meantime, we could see this trend reversed, as we’re set to enjoy a second Sonic movie in April, and a Rabbids production has been announced for Netflix’s platform.
