Rian Johnson shared the new footage of Knives Out 2 from Netflix’s 2022 preview trailer.
Knives Out directed by Rian Johnson was one of the sensations of 2019. With the return of Daniel Craig to its cast, this year will launch a sequel through the streaming platform.

2022 is already underway, and the different studios are thinking about their releases this year. While some have already begun to arrive in theaters, such as Licorice Pizza by Paul Thomas Anderson (which was released in the American market in 2021), the vast majority will wait until this month and next, with The Batman as the first major release of the year from Warner Bros. Pictures.
Netflix, for its part, has set itself a really challenging goal: to release a new movie every week for its 222 million users worldwide. Among the expected releases appears the sequel to Knives Out, the film Rian Johnson-directed in 2019 and earned him a nomination at the Oscars for Best Original Screenplay.
Of course, as seen in the brief footage from Knives Out 2, Daniel Craig returns as the prolific mystery solver Benoit Blanc. Much like the original movie, Knives Out 2 will feature an impressive ensemble cast, made up of entirely new names this time around. The film stars Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, and Ethan Hawke.
