The Dune universe is currently enjoying a surge in popularity, with Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s original work for the big screen captivating audiences. It didn’t take long for this fantastic success to be turned into a video game: at The Game Awards 2021, Dune: Spice Wars was unveiled. Although it had been previously announced that Early Access would be available in 2022, the date has now been made a little more concrete.

The team at Shiro Games took the opportunity to announce this news along with a gameplay walkthrough, which further builds anticipation for the game’s release.
