The Fall of Babylon’s Fall: Only 650 Concurrent Players On Its Premiere On Steam

Platinum Games’ new hack and slash game failed to attract interest on PC.

Amidst all the big releases earlier this year, you might not have heard that Babylon’s Fall had just been released. Platinum Games’ new game just hit the market on Thursday, March 3, and in addition to making its way to PlayStation consoles ( where it received a playable demo ), it’s also making its way to PC.

According to SteamDB, a website that collects daily data and statistics for Steam games, the game’s release was very poor. Only 650 concurrent players peaked on Valve’s platform on the first day, a very modest number for a new release.

For now, we wait to see how the reception of the title develops in the coming days and weeks, the truth is that the numbers confirm the bad omens. While it’s true that this game doesn’t compare to other recent AAA bestselling releases, but to put the data into context, Elden Ring itself had 764,835 concurrent players on Steam.

Babylon’s Fall, available for PC, PS4 and PS5, is a hack’n’slash game from Platinum Games in which you must overcome various challenges in the Tower of Babylon.
