The Settlers: No One Is Settling Yet, Ubisoft’s RTS Is Delayed

Ubisoft justifies the decision by saying that it was made after feedback from the closed beta of  The Settlers.

The reboot of The Settlers is a highly anticipated title for fans of real-time strategy and city management games, and marks the return of one of the genre’s iconic franchises to PC. A specific date has been announced in the calendar, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait a little longer to play Ubisoft’s classic.

Due to the closed beta, which will run from 20 to 24 January, the game’s delay was announced in a message on the game’s Twitter account.

According to them, they saw the quality as not meeting the team’s expectations and did not comment on the future release date, but simply that it would eventually arrive “later”.

The extra time will allow Blue Byte’s developers to “improve the game and its quality”, which they say is now the studio’s priority. With the relaunch, they will strive to meet the expectations of players and assure us that they will continue to keep us informed of this in future updates to be released through official channels.

So we will have to wait even longer to get our hands on this The Settlers, which has been left without a specific release date. It’s worth noting that the game was originally scheduled for release in 2019, but has already been delayed several times.
