Misleading Advertising In Gran Turismo 7! [VIDEO]

A fan is fed up with getting meagre credits after successful races.

But let’s start with Gran Turismo 7’s deceptive marketing. The image has surfaced on Reddit, which is featured in the PlayStation Store description. “With the reintroduction of the legendary GT Simulation Mode, you can buy, tune, race and sell your way through a solo campaign as you unlock new cars and challenges.” Here’s the kicker! In Gran Turismo 7, you CAN NOT sell your cars, which has been a fundamental thing from the first episode of the series!

The game could safely be called Grind Turismo 7, especially after the 1.07 patch, which thoroughly cut the credit count after several races—and selling cars used to give you credits… which doesn’t work in GT7. It goes against the tradition of the series. Oh, and Sony should act fast because this could be considered misleading advertising on the PlayStation Store. One of the trophies in Gran Turismo 7 could be described as rather… cheeky: Firm Favorite requires you to buy the same car ten times. You’ll have nine unnecessary vehicles in your garage that you can’t even sell!

But some people are fed up with all this. On PSNProfileson Septomor has created a script that probably won’t be used by everyone. Still, there will undoubtedly be some who will make use of his work, which requires a PC to play Polyphony Digital’s game via PlayStation Remote Play. “This is a method to 100 per cent AFK farm credits. I know with nerfs, people are not happy and are probably turned off by the enormous grind, or at least I am. So here are some scripts created to adjust for those nerfs. Windows only for the time being,” the user wrote.

In the video below, you can see how to get the script to work, earning you about 550,000 credits per hour. Two hundred fifty thousand credits can be achieved with 5 USD/EUR of microtransactions, so leaving the console on overnight might be more beneficial to avoid running out of money. Of course, we’re sure Sony won’t leave it at that…
