Users who play War Thunder in the next few days can expect to receive gifts of all sizes.
War Thunder likes to pay attention to special dates. In March, it commemorated 8M (International Women’s Day) with a special sticker for the occasion, and now Gaijin Entertainment is once again paying tribute to World Astronautics Day, which commemorates the first piloted flight in space. How do we celebrate such an event? With gifts for all players, of course!
As reported by the developer on the game’s website, users will have the opportunity to get a special sticker called “Open Space” that will allow you to bring an astronomical colour to your game. Gaijin Entertainment will also add 3D decorations called “Cosmonaut Helmet'” and “Vostok” to the ground vehicles and ships.

How to get it? Gaijin Entertainment asks you to participate in 3 random battles at Rank III or higher to get the sticker. We will unlock this gift at the end of the game if our in-game activity is at least 70%. As for the 3D decorations, we can get them in a Cosmonautics Day chest.
Although the game is characterised by funny tanks, planes and other vehicles, that doesn’t mean that they don’t want to pay homage to one of the most important moments in human history. If you want to get a taste of this game and discover every detail of the experience, don’t forget that you can play War Thunder for free now!
