Coming to PC and consoles in 2023, GreedFall 2: The Dying World takes place on the old continent of the universe.

If you were looking for more after finishing GreedFall, then we have some excellent news, Nacon Games and Spiders have today confirmed the development of GreedFall 2, titled GreedFall 2: The Dying World, sharing the first information about the production and dating of its release to 2024 for PC and consoles. GreedFall 2 starts its story where the first game ended.

Its protagonist is a native of Teer Fradee who has been forcibly taken to Gacane, the old continent. It is presented as a place ravaged by war, disease and political intrigue, where the player must know how to move in order to regain his freedom. “It will be up to you, through diplomacy, ingenuity, combat and various allies, to put an end to man’s conquering ambitions, which, if left unchecked, could spell the end of the continent and your island.”

The Spiders team hopes to keep the successful formula of the first game, returning to a strong narrative progression where the player’s choices are given weight but also putting more effort into gameplay to provide the user with more tactical combat that can attract new audiences to its universe.

“While we were working on Steelrising, our passion for the GreedFall universe never waned, so we’re excited to return to it,” said Jehanne Rousseau, Head of Spiders. “In this new chapter, players will be able to explore the old continent with its larger and more diverse environments, as well as meet new companions and new factions. We are looking forward to unforgettable adventures,” he adds.
