The next Dragon Age game will be called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, publisher Electronic Arts and developer BioWare announced in a joint press release.
For the latest details on the game, check out the press release.
“Who is Dread Wolf?
Dread Wolf is none other than Solas. His motives are mysterious, and his methods are sometimes questionable, earning him a reputation as a kind of rogue deity – a player in dark and dangerous games. Some say he may be an ancient elven god; others say he is not. Others believe he is a traitor to his people… or a saviour who now seeks to save them at the cost of your world.
Whether you’re new to Dragon Age stories or have seen them all before, Solas’ use of his namesake undoubtedly suggests the endless possibilities of where things can go. But at the centre, as in all the previous games, is you. If you’re new to Dragon Age, you don’t have to worry about not having met our antagonist yet. He’ll make a proper introduction when the time comes, but we hinted at his return when we announced #TheDreadWolfRises in 2018.
Although the game isn’t out this year, we’re getting closer to the next adventure. As we speak, you can be sure Solas is already putting his dummies on the board. We suspect you’ll have questions, and you’ll get them answered in time. That’s all we know for now, but we hope that knowing the official title has piqued your interest, as we’ll be talking more about the game later this year!”
More information is due in 2022.”
