Dead By Daylight: More News Incoming On Resident Evil Crossover?!

The unveiling of the second chapter of Dead by Daylight’s Resident Evil is about to take place at a new launch event celebrating Behaviour’s 30th anniversary.

Behaviour, the developer of Dead by Daylight, recently announced Behaviour Beyond, a showcase event to kick off the company’s 30th-anniversary celebrations. The showcase will air on Wednesday, August 3 at 1:30 pm, but no further details were shared about what exactly it might include or what it might be about. Shortly afterwards, however, it was announced that more information about the second Resident Evil chapter would be revealed during this Behaviour Beyond showcase, including what the “W” in Project W stands for.

The first Resident Evil chapter of Dead by Daylight followed the popular remake releases of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and featured survivors Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine and Chris and Claire Redfield. This DLC also introduced Nemesis as a killer, as well as a highly detailed interior map inspired by the Raccoon City police department, which was plagued with several problems at launch.

Now, based on the letter “W” in Project W, Resident Evil fans immediately jumped to the assumption that Albert Wesker would make his debut in Dead by Daylight.

This would back up the recently leaked Dead by Daylight information that we now know which characters will be in it, with survivors supposedly being joined by Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. Many Dead by Daylight leaks in the past have proven to be correct, and this may be the case for Project W, but fans should still be wary of these rumour leaks until official information is shared.

Fortunately, fans will be able to find out everything they need to know about Project W when Behaviour Beyond is revealed on August 3. There’s no word on what else will be shared at the event, but hearing about the game’s next chapter update will certainly be an exciting incentive for fans to tune in.
