Pilgor and his friends arrive on the island of San Angora: Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Coffee Stain North have released a new gameplay trailer and screenshots for Goat Simulator 3.

“Goat Simulator 3 is a complex and serious(an silly) new sandbox adventure in which four players can jump in and cause total havoc together. But don’t worry, we have a single-player goat game for you too! You can unlock all the secrets of the island on your own, no friends needed.

 

Like the original Goat Simulator, the sequel’s gameplay revolves around exploration, puzzle-solving and ‘accidental’ destruction, but this time there’s a lot more of it. Shoot NPCs with alien weapons, start crazy mini-games anywhere in the sandbox (read on), become a “rhino” and stomp around the city (the sentence ends quickly), join a secret goat society and help them achieve their goals, (hold your breath) drive a car straight into a gas station (what is it with goats and gas stations anyway? ), and much more! The world really is your oyster* (phew, you did it!).

But everyone knows you can’t destroy the world if you don’t look good. In Goat Simulator 3, you’ll find plenty of fashionable items to get your hooves on. If you want to wander around in a pink tutu, giant blonde wig and paint cans for shoes, who are we to stop you? After all, that’s what separates you from your friend dressed up as a medieval knight shooting lasers out of his eyes and the other one playing a giant hideous banana (aka Abominana).

Around San Angora, players can explore seven multiplayer mini-games. Once unlocked, they can be seamlessly launched anywhere across the map for an extra challenge, or somewhere horribly inconvenient just for a laugh.

 

King of the Hill – Stay in the castle to get crowns. The player with the most crowns wins!

Lava on the floor – Don’t touch the lava! Use your parkour skills and climb as high as you can to escape the rising lava. Last one alive wins!

Car Derby – Drive into the back of other players’ vehicles to detonate their bombs! The last player alive wins!

Prop Hunt – Classic hide and seek. If you’re the seeker, find the other players by dropping stuff. If you want to hide, lick the prop you want. Move around while hiding to score extra points.

Headsplat – Use your headsplatter to paint the world! You get one point for each thing you paint.

Hoofball – Get the ball into the goal to score points. The player with the most points wins, as usual.

Prop Golf – Get your prop to the flag as fast as you can! The first player to reach the flag first wins!

Goat Simulator 3 will be released on 17 November for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via the Epic Games Store.
