[SOP] God Of War: Ragnarok Has Released A Mind-Blowing Gameplay Trailer! [VIDEO]

The PlayStation-exclusive God of War: Ragnarok arrives on PS4 and PS5 in November, but first, we can dive deeper into its story.

The highlight of the recent State of Play show was, unsurprisingly, a stunning new trailer for God of War: Ragnarok, Santa Monica Studio’s highly anticipated game coming to PlayStation 5 (or PS4 if you haven’t made the generation jump yet) on 9 November. By now, you’re probably more than familiar with the characters who will define the latest story arc for the northern Kratos, including Atreus, Thor and many more.

A special DualSense will accompany the launch of God of War Ragnarok.

With the usual epicness of the God of War saga, this trailer allowed us to enjoy some very telling story bits, we got to see several of the main characters we’ll be interacting with/fighting during the adventure, and of course, there’s no shortage of the brutal action sequences so typical of the series back in the PS2 days.

One of the most striking things about the trailer is the variety of environments Kratos and Atreus will face against a wide variety of enemies. In the video, we got to see the spirit of Sparta using new combat skills, and we’ll also get to experience some very spectacular scenes that promise maximum tension.

We saw Thor and other Norse gods and monsters in action.

In closing, this trailer also showed us one of the most anticipated clashes of the new God of War, which served to show us Thor’s design in action in Ragnarok.

The State of Play presentation was accompanied by the announcement of the wireless DualSense based on God of War Ragnarok. “Its two-tone, cool blue on icy white design was inspired by the Norse world of Midgard,” reads the PlayStation blog. “Further embellished with bear and wolf insignia – representing Kratos and Atreus.” The controller will be available to buy from 9 November, to coincide with the game’s release, although pre-orders will open on 27 September.
