TECH NEWS – Competition is heating up in the graphics card market, with AMD announcing the upcoming RDNA 3 architecture.
AMD has announced plans to launch its upcoming RDNA 3 graphics cards on November 3. With Nvidia recently negotiating the launch of its RTX 4090 GPU and the 4080 GPU, these two tech giants are again in a battle for graphics supremacy.
In a bid to stand out from the competition, AMD has said that its RDNA 3 product line will offer greater efficiency, although the architecture will still be able to compete with Nvidia in terms of power. Many expect the red team to unveil the RX 7000 series, although the naming scheme does not yet appear to be confirmed at the time of writing. In any case, the next generation of GPUs is fast approaching, so no doubt we will be able to learn more details in the coming days and weeks.
Of course, it’s not just Nvidia that AMD has to watch out for.
Intel is expected to launch its Arc graphics cards soon, with a not-so-slight delay. There were even rumours that Intel was shutting down its GPU offerings, but it seems that the tech giant’s position has improved. However, the first iteration of the Arc cards appears to be more current technology than next-generation, so the other two probably don’t have much to worry about.
Considering that the Nvidia RTX 4090 is likely to be much faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, the pressure is on AMD to make a good impression when RDNA 3 is released. The competition is getting fierce, but it sounds like both companies will have something exciting to offer gamers and enthusiasts very soon.
