Latest Xbox Game Pass Release Is Here – But What’s Next For October?

Xbox Game Pass has not yet revealed the complete list of games for October 2022 but has confirmed that a new title will arrive on October 4.

A new game has been confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, which will join the lineup from today. Surprisingly, Microsoft has revealed this one game instead of all the new games coming in the first two weeks of October 2022. Fans may have to wait until the end of the week for a proper unveiling, but in the meantime, they’ve got one game joining the lineup on October 4.

Previous announcements have confirmed several games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2022, including several first-day releases. Thanks to the official Twitter account, subscribers know about another game they can expect this month.

On Tuesday, October 4, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the medieval melee fighting game Chivalry 2.

Chivalry 2 was first released last year on various platforms. It received mostly positive reviews. Much better reviews, in fact, than its more divisive predecessor, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. The game could be a great addition to the Xbox Game Pass lineup. Other titles may join it on October 4, but Microsoft hasn’t yet revealed the complete list of new games coming in October. So fans will have to wait for more information on that front.

Although we don’t know all the titles are coming, several games have already been confirmed previously. On October 6, Medieval Dynasty, another medieval fantasy game, will join the Xbox Game Pass, and on October 11, Coral Island (for PC Game Pass) and Eville.

PC Game Pass will also get Dyson Sphere on October 13.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also enjoy Norco on October 20, Persona 5 Royal on October 21, and Gunfire Reborn on October 27. In addition to these games, a few new Game Pass games are expected for October 2022. They could be particularly appealing to fans of horror games looking for something to do during the Halloween season.

One of those games is Scorn, a first-person, unsettling art-style horror game that will be released on October 14, bringing it forward from its previous release date of October 21. Another is A Plague Tale: Requiem, which joins the lineup on October 18. Finally, Signalis, inspired by old-fashioned survival horror games, joins Game Pass on October 27.
