It’s sad to see what Sony is doing. Recently, we noticed that The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition (the collector’s edition) was damaged in shipping in a few cases, and now we have to report a worse situation…
God of War: Ragnarök is out, and those who ordered the collector’s edition are about to get their hands on it. It would include a code to get it digitally for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. However, Push Square has reported that the collector’s edition, which costs $200, has missed out the code for some players, and there are even examples of the steelbook missing.
One Twitter user wrote that his collector’s edition had two identical DLC codes, but the game code was missing, to which one of the replies (also with a photo) mentioned the absence of the steelbook. A few people reported that they had received a refund from the retailer (where they bought the game). Still, since the product is a limited edition, they are not willing to offer a replacement since Thor’s hammer is a collector’s item. How did Sony get to the point where they’ve gone so wrong twice in two months with the collector’s versions of their games?
Meanwhile, God of War: Ragnarök’s unfinished photo mode surfaced, and Speclizer took to Twitter to show a video of it. You can adjust several things in it: Field of View, Focal Length, Camera Roll, Depth of Field, Focus Distance, F-Stop, Film Grain, Exposure, Filter, Filter Intensity, Vibrance, Saturation, Vignette, Vignette Intensity, Vignette Falloff, Border, Logo, and Character. The Character option hides some funny possibilities.
It allows you to hide Kratos, Atreus, and presumably their helpers. However, there’s another option to adjust the facial expressions of the characters, allowing Kratos not always to take on a grim face but (if we so desire) grin in a way we may not have seen him before…
