World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight: Legendary Dragons Clash In New Trailer! [VIDEO]

Alexstrasza and Raszageth fight it out in the sky! Blizzard Entertainment has released a new pre-rendered cinematic for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is well underway, and Blizzard Entertainment has traditionally uploaded cinematic videos of the expansion to its YouTube channel for players to enjoy. Despite the expansion’s chaotic launch, many World of Warcraft fans have managed to break through the now-infamous ship and zeppelin journey to the Dragon Isles. The new continent has plenty of amazing stories to tell. Many have already chosen their favourite quests. But the overarching story remains one of revenge, sibling rivalry and ascension as Alexstrasza takes on Raszageth, the “Storm Eater.”

Raszageth and the “Primalists” are the initial threat, though he is not necessarily the ultimate boss of Dragonflight.

Dragonflight has some impressive in-game cutscenes. However, the Storm-Eater and Alexstrasza clash was shot as a traditional World of Warcraft cinematic scene. In a two-and-a-half-minute scene titled “The Storm-Eater’s Fury”, Raszageth unleashes his full power on the Dragon Queen, nearly ending her reign if not for the timely intervention of a somewhat controversial WoW character.

Wrathion has always been a divisive figure in WoW for the community. As the heir to the throne of Neltharion, it was assumed that he would take the vacant throne of Earth-Warder and rebuild Black Dragonflight to what it once was. The supplement strongly challenges this assumption with the reappearance of Sabellian and his brother and sister. Thus forcing players and Wrathion to question whether he truly deserves the throne. As Dragonflight unfolds, fans can support either the Black Prince or his rival in the battle for the next Dragon Aspect title.

As for Raszageth, he remains the final boss of the first raid, and his influence is felt everywhere in Dragonflight Season 1.

Just like Sire Denathrius before him, the seasonal affix for the Mythic Keystone dungeons is built around the Storm Eater. It’s as exciting and electrifying as the character himself. World of Warcraft players will be able to aim at him in the Vault of the Incarnates from December 12, when the Normal, Heroic and Mythic versions of the raid open.
