Xbox Game Pass: Acclaimed 2022 Title Soon To Be Added?! [VIDEO]

According to a recent rumour, a critically acclaimed game due for release in 2022 will soon join the Xbox Game Pass library.

Microsoft is rumoured to be adding a critically acclaimed game due for release in 2022 to the Xbox Game Pass library. Game Pass members will have access to a handful of games each month across various genres, some of which will be released on day one.

Microsoft previously unveiled the list of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in December 2022.

It confirmed that titles including LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Metal: Hellsinger, High on Life and Eastward will join the line-up this month. This selection already includes some notable 2022 releases. But according to a new rumour, Xbox Game Pass will soon be joined by one of this year’s most anticipated games.

Nick from XboxEra claims that Neon White will be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the future. Neon White currently has a score of 90 on Metacritic, making it one of the highest-rated new releases of 2022. It’s a fast-paced, first-person action game initially released for PC and Switch in June 2022. It was recently confirmed that Neon White would be released on December 13 for PS5 and PS4, so it may also be released for Xbox consoles. However, all rumours should be treated with caution. Fans will have to wait for final confirmation from Microsoft.

Rumours about what’s new for Game Pass often end up coming true, but some never see the light of day.

A leak in November, for example, suggested that AEW: Fight Forever would arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one, but this has since been proven false.

Subscribers should note that Hot Wheels Unleashed was scheduled to launch on Game Pass on December 15. However, its inclusion has been delayed. Hot Wheels Unleashed was one of the free monthly PS Plus games in October 2022. So there seems to be some overlap between the two services. There is no date on whether Hot Wheels Unleashed will be available on Xbox Game Pass. Gamers will have to wait for Microsoft to share updated release plans.
