Witchfire: Fantasy FPS Has Got A Stunning Trailer – Will There Be DLSS 3 Support?! [VIDEO]

The Astronauts have released a stunning new gameplay trailer for their dark fantasy first-person shooter Witchfire, confirming Nvidia DLSS 3 support.

Game developer studio The Astronauts has teased a fresh gameplay trailer for its upcoming dark fantasy first-person shooter Witchfire. They also confirmed that the game would support Nvidia DLSS 3 technology. For those not familiar with the studio, The Astroanuts’ first game was the horror adventure The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

However, The Astronauts’ plans for Witchfire have become even more ambitious, and they’ve decided to delay the game until 2023 to expand the exploration elements.

The latest gameplay trailer for Witchfire is awe-inspiring. It also shows that the game can maintain a high frame rate despite its intense graphics. According to the developers, this is made possible by DLSS 3 technology. In the trailer, fans can see the intense first-person shooter gameplay at work. The player character uses spells and weapons to take down various monsters. One spell in the trailer allows the player to freeze enemies in mid-air. Another is a blinding beam of light that seems to stun any enemies unlucky enough to be nearby.

For those curious about Witchfire’s latest gameplay trailer, it’s worth noting that the game is expected to be released in 2023, at least in early access, and that it’s a rogue-lite FPS.

Witchfire isn’t an actual open-world game, but it does feature “open-level design”, according to the developers’ description. This means that the environment gives players plenty of room to explore. Players will take on the role of a witch hunter, and, as you can see in the trailer, there will be plenty of enemies to take out.

It may be a rogue-lite game, but Witchfire’s gameplay trailer compares it to traditional FPS games such as BioShock, Dishonored and Doom. Time will tell if Witchfire can live up to the extremely high standards set by these giants of the FPS genre. Unless there are further delays, fans will find out later this year.
