PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can now play a time-limited trial of Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
Perhaps the unique feature of PS Plus Premium, time-limited play trials allow players to play a complete game for a set number of hours.
This ranges from one to five hours, depending on the game. Most titles offer a two-hour trial period. PS Plus Premium subscribers can try out AAA games such as Horizon Forbidden West and Cyberpunk 2077 for five hours each. This gives them a taste of the game mechanics before they decide whether to buy. Now Sony has added a great new 2022 release to the list of games to try.
PlayStation Plus Premium adds a trial of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to the catalogue so that fans can play it for up to two hours at no extra cost. Players should note that this timer will start as soon as the game loads. Users must close the app to stop the countdown. The game features a day-night cycle where players go on missions during the day but otherwise have multiple ways to spend their time. Unlike the Persona series, time does not pass while performing actions. So, users can complete all optional content for the day before going to bed.
Users can spend their time training team members, upgrading skills, unravelling the many mysteries surrounding the Abbey, or simply hanging out with their favourite Marvel characters.
They can even join different clubs, each offering more backstories and unique interactions between characters.
While two hours may be enough time to form an early opinion on the game’s mechanics and features, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a story-driven game. There are plenty of cut-scenes and cutscenes. It also takes a while to establish a rhythm in which players go about their daily tasks in addition to going on missions with their favourite Marvel heroes. So the long introduction may be too slow for some players. Nevertheless, the two-hour PS Plus trial period will help users get hands-on game experience.
