The Shooting of Mission: Impossible is Delayed Due to a Royal Date

CINEMA NEWS – The shooting of the eighth part of Mission: Impossible is stopped because Tom Cruise had something important to do. He was invited to the coronation of King Károly, which the world star definitely does not want to miss.

Tom Cruise is an ardent supporter of the British monarchy, and he is also very good at taking care of Prince William and his wife, Catherine, so he must be there at the famous event. Tom Cruise has told the studio bosses that he will not be available for the week of May 6, so the filming will have to wait.

The American star’s popularity among Britons skyrocketed in May when he offered his arm to Princess Catherine to help her up the stairs in her skimpy dress at the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick. It is part of the truth that the duke couple already saw the fighter super production in March, because Cruise showed it to them for the first time in the world. He was rightly proud of it, since then the film has been nominated for six Oscars.

Tom Cruise‘s gallant gesture can be seen here by the royal family on his video channel, starting at 0:50.

The shooting of the next part of Mission: Impossible will of course continue after the coronation. The already finished Mission: Impossible Showdown First Part will hit theaters this summer, with the most daring stunt scene in film history.
