Pedro Pascal Enthusiastic About The Expanded Universe Of The Mandalorian’s Season 3

MOVIE NEWS – Pedro Pascal has given us a sneak peek into season 3 of The Mandalorian, expressing his excitement about the expanded world and mythology of Mandalore.

The highly anticipated season 3 of The Mandalorian is coming soon. The Star Wars franchise fans can’t wait to see the return of their favourite characters, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and the Child, also known as Grogu. Set in the Star Wars universe after the fall of the Galactic Empire, the live-action series follows the journey of a lone bounty hunter tasked with finding Grogu and keeping him out of trouble. Din Djarin and Grogu’s reunion, a pivotal event in the spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett, sets the stage for the exciting journey ahead for the duo. In the first two seasons of The Mandalorian, viewers watched Din Djarin transform from a lone bounty hunter to Grogu’s loving and protective father figure. This emotional connection will undoubtedly be a central theme in the next season.

Pedro Pascal recently spoke to Empire magazine about the next season of The Mandalorian, excited about the expansion of the world of the series, with a particular focus on Mandalorian mythology.

Pascal stated that the new season will delve into different aspects of the Mandalorians’ “culture, politics, rules, and discoveries” and that many doors will open to new possibilities.

“What I love most about Season 3 is how much the world opens up in terms of Mandalore and Mandalorians. That means so many different facets of culture, politics, and rules and discoveries. Delicious doors are flying wide open,” Pascal said.

Co-star Katee Sackhoff, who plays Bo-Katan Kryze, shared her excitement about the new season. She says it will be “epic” and “big, bold and different”. Regarding her character, Sackhoff alluded to Bo-Katan’s personal struggles as she grapples with her complicated past and the decision of which family to join.

“I [was] texting Jon and Dave, ‘Are you serious?’ This is an epic season – it’s so big and so bold and so different. We know the family that she was born into; now what’s the family that she’s going to choose? What does that look like?”

What can we expect from Season 3 of The Mandalorian?
