Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure: Playground Games Goes Off-Road [VIDEO]

Don’t leave the beaten track for another route? Playground Games has shrugged and then turned the wheel: the new Forza Horizon takes an off-road turn.

Forza Horizon has been available for over a year on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Microsoft Store, and the Xbox Game Pass also gives you access to Playground Games’ game, which you can run from the cloud with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. So soon, we will have the opportunity to start a rally adventure sitting on the bus.

Forza Horizon 5’s new add-on is called Rally Adventure and is just over a month away from release. “Your Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure is here! Drive purpose-built rally monsters and conquer the rugged Sierra Nueva. Join three rally teams and attack Horizon’s most thrilling routes in Horizon Rally and Horizon Races. Feel the intensity of massive dust trails and deformable sand roads in 10 new cars and experience the bursting flames of anti-lag. Explore dramatic craters, an abandoned quarry, and an entirely smashable palm forest,” Playground Games wrote of the new add-on.

Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure has also been given a release date by Playground Games (who we’ve heard are struggling with the Fable reboot announced two and a half years ago, and it’s no coincidence that we haven’t seen anything from the game since its confirmation…): it’ll be out on March 29 for Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. The add-on will be available as part of the Premium Add-Ons bundle. Otherwise, it will cost 20 bucks/euros.

The only question is, how long does Playground Games plan to support the game? Remember, the older Forza Horizon games have already been taken down from the Microsoft Store by Microsoft, and this installment may meet a similar fate.
