MOVIE NEWS – While the critics are still barely able to fool each other with praise reviews – otherwise probably rightfully so –Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves received another big boost.
A downloadable application has been created that puts together the user’s avatar in minutes, and thanks to this, he can see himself in movie previews and appear on social media. Two accomplices are behind the move, the Paramount studio that produced the film and the Lightricks software company, the latter’s program called Photoleap was tuned so that anyone could personally move into the world of D&D.
You can’t really say that Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves wants to remain modestly on the borderlands of pop culture, as the prequel to the film’s story is about to be released, Dungeons & Dragons: The Road to Neverwinter(by Jaleigh Johnson). The fantasy novel tells how the two protagonists of the film, Edgin, the bard (Chris Pine) and Holga, the fearless barbarian warrior (Michelle Rodriguez) form lifelong friendships , and next time they will be swept away by the complications seen in the film.
In the meantime, it can be guessed that more and more of the managers of the Paramount studio watched Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, because the two directors, John Francis Daly and John Goldstein, have not only signed a long-term contract with the company, but are also developing a TV series based on the characters for Paramount+. It is also rumored that the studio will not shy away from continuing Honor Among Thieves, the production will of course be made with the cooperation of the two masters.
Daly and Goldstein have previously mentioned that they operate in a world similar to The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, only they don’t take it so seriously, meaning they bring a lot more humor into it. With this, they found a niche in the market: the genre of sword and sorcery, with a joke, can attract new crowds to the screen and small and large screens.
