PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will lose access to 10 games in April 2023 as Sony refreshes the offering next month.
PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers will lose access to 10 games in April 2023. Sony will update the PS Plus Extra and Premium line-up every month, with users gaining access to new games regularly. However, older titles will occasionally be removed, as is the case now.
Recently, a list of PS Plus Extra titles leaving in April 2023 was released, confirming that ten more games are reportedly leaving next month.
According to Push Square, PS Plus Extra users will lose access to 2Dark, 428: Shibuya Scramble, Croixleur Sigma, Gabbuchi, Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Steins;Gate Elite, The Caligula Effect: Overdose, The Wonderful 101: Remastered, and Zanki Zero: Last Beginning in April 2023. The set dates for when these games will leave PS Plus Extra are not known. The titles typically leave the service in the middle of the month. In addition, it appears that some games will only go for European players. However, the rest of the list applies to all regions.
PS Plus Extra games will leave in April 2023
- 2Dark
- 428: Shibuya Scramble – EU only
- Croixleur Sigma
- Gabbuchi
- Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign
- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
- Steins;Gate Elite – EU only
- The Caligula Effect: Overdose
- The Wonderful 101: Remastered
- Zanki Zero: Last Beginning – EU only
It should be noted that members will no longer be able to play games once they leave the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries. Unlike free monthly titles, which remain in users’ collections for as long as they are subscribed. The Wonderful 101: Remastered and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will likely be the biggest games to leave the PS Plus Extra library next month. It will be interesting to see what titles Sony replaces them with in April.
Sony hasn’t yet revealed what free PS Plus games it plans to release in April 2023, but that information usually leaks out before the official announcement.
March was an exception to this, however, as Sony revealed at its State of Play event in February that Battlefield 2042, Code Vein and Minecraft Dungeons will all be coming to PlayStation Plus tiers. It seems that the arrival of Battlefield 2042 on PS Plus has resulted in a massive increase in the number of active players. More than 500% more users are playing the game since it was added.
