Voice Actor Of Zelda In Tears Of The Kingdom Revealed!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has confirmed exactly whose voice will be used as Princess Zelda’s in the upcoming game.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is just over a week away from release. Now Patricia Summersett has announced that she will return as the voice of the titular Princess of Hyrule. This is just one of the many details that have recently been revealed about Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild has brought several changes to the iconic fantasy series, including the introduction of dubbed voices for everyone except Link.

Since Tears of the Kingdom will continue in this new direction, it makes sense that this new story will once again feature voice-over cutscenes. At least a good part of the original cast will return.

Patricia Summersett announced in a video pinned to her Twitter bio that she will reprise her role as Princess Zelda in Tears of the Kingdom. She is the second actor confirmed for the game, after Matthew Mercer, who plays Ganondorf. Although he hasn’t spoken publicly about it yet, his voice was clearly heard in some of the game’s recent trailers. In them, he asks Link to find him. It is unclear why Nintendo asked him to keep it a secret after all this. The actress expressed her enthusiasm for the game in the same tweet.

Even though the game’s predecessor received almost universal acclaim, some fans had issues with the voice acting in the game.

Summersett even made a statement about it a few years ago, standing up for his performance. He explained that it was rooted in his relationship with the character’s struggle throughout the play. Many critics have claimed that the voice acting in the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity spin-off/prequel is an overall improvement. So it will be interesting to see if the improvement continues in the next game.

Despite the minimal plot details that were leaked, the story of Tears of the Kingdom is more fleshed out than the previous game. This suggests that we may get more voice acting in the game than even in Age of Calamity. Who else will be voiced in the game is anyone’s guess. Not to mention who their voices will be.
