PS Plus Extra & Premium: That’s How Much Space You’ll Need To Free Up For May Games!

PS Plus Extra and Premium members will get a bundle of new games in May 2023, and users will know how much storage space they’ll need.

 

 

We’ve just revealed how much space PS Plus Extra and Premium tier games will have in May 2023. Extra and Premium members will receive a selection of titles each month in addition to the free games available to users of all three tiers.

Sony recently unveiled the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2023, confirming that some big-name titles will join the service in the coming days.

Subscribers can play games such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. As well as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Evil Within 2, and Thymesia. Plus, many more games for free when the catalogue is updated. They have now confirmed the storage requirements for these games. So users know better how much space they need to free up.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is probably the highlight of the month. PlayStation Game Size has confirmed that fans will need 34.553 GB of storage space to install it on their PS5 console. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will require 14.401GB and 14.672GB of storage, respectively. However, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is much bigger at 25.787 GB. PlayStation Game Size also reveals that Thymesia and Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop will take up 5.819 GB and 5.515 GB of space, respectively.

More Bethesda games are joining the PS Plus Extra line-up this month. The Evil Within 2 will take up 31,803 GB of space on the console, up from 29,750 GB, while Wolfenstein: Youngblood will take up 43,451 GB of space. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider takes up roughly 29 GB of space. But Dishonored 2 is much bigger, requiring between 52.397 and 53.666 GB of space. PlayStation Game Size clarifies that these sizes can vary by 1 or 2 GB depending on the region.

Conan Exiles is a vast game, taking up a staggering 104.491 GB on PlayStation consoles, but the other titles are thankfully much smaller.

PS Plus subscribers will only need 1.163 GB to play Lake on PS5. While Rain World and Rune Factory 4 Special take up 3,360 GB and 5,452 GB, respectively.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin requires 6,658 GB, and Soundfall requires 4,815 GB and 2,745 GB for PS4 and PS5, respectively. Finally, gamers must free up 55.631 GB and 19.435 GB of space to download Watch Dogs: Legion and Ghostbusters: The VideoGame Remastered, respectively. The first-day release of PS Plus, Humanity, will take up 5-10 GB.
