Tears Of The Kingdom Producer Confessed How Many Times He Had To Play The Game Before He Was Satisfied!

The producer of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom talked about his experience with the game, noting how many times he played through the story.

Ahead of the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the game’s producer Eiji Aonuma spoke about how many times he had beaten the game. Many fans are still waiting to play the game. But the producer said he had seen the whole story many times during development.

Aonuma and several other developers have also given some behind-the-scenes commentary on the game via the Ask the Developer interview series.

In one of these Q&As for Tears of the Kingdom, posted on Nintendo’s website, Aonuma revealed that he had beaten the game an impressive number of times. Even though Tears of the Kingdom isn’t released until May 12, the producer noted that he’s played through the game “from start to finish” about 20 times. This was partly due to quality control reasons, but he added that he had always enjoyed the program.

Although playing through most games twenty times is impressive, in the case of Aonuma, it is even more remarkable. After all, the game will offer a vast open world, especially with the sky islands. Aonuma revealed that some of these playthroughs were quickly completed. Others, however, he said, were completed at a more meandering pace. Many detours were made along the way. In fact, Aonuma suggested that fans playing the game for the first time should adopt this style of play. He was saying that “it’s more fun with detours, even more so than in the previous game”.

In addition to revealing how often Aonuma has played Tears of the Kingdom, these Nintendo Q&As with the developers also announced several other details about the project.

For example, the developers went into detail about creating the Ultrahand ability. According to one part of the interview, they created a prototype using the tools from Breath of the Wild to show the potential of Ultrahand in the new game.

Tears of the Kingdom officially launches today. Players will finally have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the game. Hopefully, it will live up to the expectations of many fans. Everyone is excited to jump back into the world of Hyrule. And there, you can see all that Aonuma and the rest of the development team have added to the sequel.
