MOVIE NEWS – Transformers: Rise of the Beasts promises to be one of the big event films of the summer, the producer Paramount studio has high hopes for it.

You can’t help but hope for success: the new robot opus will need to gross at least $500 million to bring in its $200 million budget (this doesn’t include marketing yet) and set the stage for further sequels to the franchise.

The optimism is justified from two points of view. On the one hand, cinema-going has revived from the dead state caused by the pandemic, and the audience is flocking to the multiplexes again. On the other hand, the new Transformers opus thoroughly renews the series: this time young, Latino and black actors are the stars in the foreground, making the production even more attractive to the relevant audience segments.
