Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Is It Finally Worth It To Be A Ubisoft+ Subscriber?!

Ubisoft will be offering Assassin’s Creed Mirage on day one through its Ubisoft+ subscription service!

Ubisoft has announced that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on day one via its subscription service, in addition to PC and console editions. The announcement comes at a time when expectations for the franchise are growing. Especially after Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed gameplay trailer.

The company has promised to return to the look and feel of the franchise’s previous games in upcoming titles, and after the recent Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay reveal, it looks like Ubisoft is delivering on its promise.

Now that anticipation is building, Ubisoft is capitalizing on the hype. In a tweet on its official Ubisoft account, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on Ubisoft+ on day one. It will also be available on PC and Xbox. Ubisoft and Microsoft are getting more and more aligned on the gaming front. The former is offering some of its big titles, such as Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Odyssey, on Game Pass. The company recently launched Ubisoft+ on Xbox, with 65 titles through its Multi-Access plan. Meanwhile, it hinted that future titles might be available on multiple services in the future. The availability of the new Assassin’s Creed on Ubisoft+ appears to be the company’s latest attempt to boost the appeal of its own subscription service.

Of course, Ubisoft+ will not be the only way PC gamers will have access to the new game. The forthcoming title will also be available on the Epic Games Store. However, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be skipping Steam. However, whether Ubisoft aims to release the game on the platform later this year is unknown. Either way, it’s unlikely the company will skip Steam entirely. Considering that their most recently released Assassin’s Creed game was also released on the platform.

Ubisoft’s heavy focus on the franchise is unsurprising, given the company’s disappointing 2022.

Ubisoft is expanding the Assassin’s Creed team as a critical part of its roadmap. The company is doubling down on several projects for the franchise. Only time will tell how the future holds for both Assassin’s Creed and Ubisoft. Although if this recent announcement is any indication, it means the company is looking at Ubisoft+ as a crucial part of its growth.
