One of the most important elements of Diablo 4 is the loot system, which affects not only the player’s power, but also the gameplay. However, Blizzard has admitted that due to a bug in the game, druids do not receive the unique weapons intended for them.
In Diablo 4, as players level up and solve increasingly difficult content, they gain access to newer and more powerful loot types. One such type is unique loot, which have their own names and permanent abilities. These weapons and items can define a Diablo 4 character, and certain playstyles wouldn’t be viable without them.
Unique loot is only available from the third world level, which can be unlocked after the player has completed Diablo 4’s campaign. However, druids don’t get as much unique loot as they should. This is a bug that can hinder the performance and enjoyment of druids.
The bug was reported in a Twitter post by Jeryl Ng, who asked Diablo General Manager Rod Fergusson why his druid was given barbarian custom weapons. Fergusson replied that it was a known issue. Although other classes may also receive rare class-specific loot, such as a bow as a barbarian, unique loot should be class-specific. Barbarians only have barbarian uniques, druids only have druid uniques, etc. get
If druids get barbarian unique loot, it most likely means they are not getting the druid unique loot they should be getting. The extent of the bug is completely unclear, which could mean that the Diablo 4 druid loot bug is very severe or barely noticeable. It might just be a barbarian unique weapon accidentally added to the druid loot list, and it barely affects the chance of the druid uniques. Even if that were true, it would still be disappointing for a druid to find that he found a unique item that wasn’t for him.
Blizzard is already working on a fix for the bug, according to Fergusson. They can probably do this as a hotfix since the loot lists run on the Diablo 4 servers. Although they don’t need to release a separate update for this, it may take time to fix the bug itself. Expect updates on the druid unique loot bug soon.
Diablo 4 was released earlier this month for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S to generally favorable reviews. It also performs well from a commercial point of view. According to Activision, Diablo 4 has become the fastest-selling Blizzard game, bringing in more than $666 million in less than a week.
