Microsoft has confirmed that six games will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers in the first half of October 2023.

 

 

Microsoft has officially revealed the games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of October 2023. A new month always means new additions to the Xbox Game Pass line-up. True, Microsoft has a few surprises in store.

First, three of the Game Pass games for October 2023 are available now. The co-op brawler Gotham Knights is now available to Game Pass subscribers in the cloud. On PC and Xbox Series X. Gotham Knights received mixed reviews upon its release. But perhaps gamers will be more forgiving of it if they play it through their subscription rather than having to buy it outright.

The Day One-release, The Lamplighters League, is also now available on the same platforms, giving subscribers a new XCOM-inspired turn-based strategy game.

As for the other new Game Pass games for October 2023, subscribers can also play Warhammer 40,000: Darktide in the cloud and on Xbox Series X starting today. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a cooperative first-person shooter game that has been available to play on PC Game Pass for about a year. However, for console gamers, it could well be a first-day game.

 

New Xbox Game Pass games for October 2023:

• Gotham Knights (Cloud/PC/Xbox Series X) – Available now.
• The Lamplighters League (Cloud/PC/Xbox Series X) – Available now.
• Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (Cloud/Xbox Series X) – Available now.
• Forza Motorsport (Cloud/PC/Xbox Series X) – October 10.
• From Space (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – October 12.
• Like a Dragon: Ishin (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – October 17.

 

Of the Game Pass games available in October 2023, Forza Motorsport will undoubtedly be the biggest title. It will join the line-up on October 10. The latest instalment in the critically acclaimed racing franchise, the new Forza Motorsport, is seven years in the making, so expectations are exceptionally high.

The shooter, From Space, will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on October 12, while Like a Dragon: Ishin will arrive on the service on October 17.

Previous release date announcements have also confirmed some of the Game Pass games coming in the second half of October. Even if Microsoft didn’t highlight them in the latest announcement post. These games include the PC version of Cities: Skylines 2 on October 24. Also, Mineko’s Night Market on October 26, Headbangers: Rhythm Royale on October 31, and Jusant on October 31.
